Buy the Verano Sleeves sewing pattern from Christine Haynes. Use this pattern to transform the into a sleeved top or dress. The original Verano pattern is sleeveless and has four views, each with the option of a plain or button front, for a total of eight variations. Add these three sleeve patterns, and the number of variations goes up to 32 for a closet full of options!
Sleeve 1 is short, with gathers at the shoulder and a straight hem with optional elastic. Sleeve 2 is slightly longer, with gathers at the shoulder and a curved hem with optional elastic. The curved hem will result in a bigger pouf at the hem. Sleeve 3 is bracelet length, with gathers at the shoulder and at the hem, which is sewn into a 1" wide cuff band.
Note: This pattern is only for the sleeves. You will need the original pattern to sew a complete garment. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, you can do so .

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight and medium weight wovens with drape, such as linen, cotton, lawn, and rayon.
Fabric requirements: This yardage is only for the sleeves. Add the sleeve yardage to the Verano garment yardage for the total amount of fabric required. Fabric requirements assume non-directional fabric. Extra fabric may be required for nap, one-way design, shading, matching design, or shrinkage.
Sleeve 1: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 - 7/8 yd (0.7 - 0.8 m) // 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).
Sleeve 2: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 7/8 - 1 yd (0.8 - 0.9 m) // 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 yd (0.7 m).
